Gambit (Symbol: GMT) is the governance token of Gambit protocol and controls the allocation of fees through voting. Gambit is a new stablecoin model and provides a capital efficient model for creating stablecoins while maintaining their pegged value. Fees are generated on the minting of stablecoins, burning of stablecoins, cross-asset swaps, opening positions, closing positions and funding rates. The fees can be distributed to USDG holders and staked GMT with the allocation to be decided and controlled by GMT governance.
